Application Guide

1. Choose the internships you'd like to apply for, and remember their internship IDs. Internship IDs are 2-digit numbers that are labelled corresponding to each internship position.
2. Fill out the Student Internship Application form with required information, resume, and an optional cover letter. For in-person internships, make sure you have a ride to the internship location!
3. Wait for a response...but check your emails! We typically get back to you about internship positions every 1-2 weeks with information on whether you are moving on to the interview phase or not.

If you get an internship: If you receive an internship offer, you will need to take it. We do not permit individuals to apply to PTL without the intention of completing the full duration of the internship to the best of their ability.

Tips & Tricks for Applying:

• Show demonstrated interest in your application, whether by writing a cover letter, understanding the company, or pursuing activities related to your industry of interest!
• Check your emails. We are constantly sending out information through email, so please check your emails frequently.
• Make sure you have enough time for a PTL internship. Internships are time-consuming, and they require a month of commitment. Only apply to a PTL internship if you have the time commitment.

Are we allowed to apply for multiple internships?

Yes, but if accepted, you will only receive interview information for one internship. This means that you are welcome to apply to as many as you want, but we will match you with the internship we believe is best suited with your goals and expectations.

How do I know if a company is the right fit?

Company websites are linked on our internship page, so feel free to check them out and see if they are for you! Additionally, you are also able to see the industries they operate in.

Will I get paid?

Yes! All interns receive a $500-$1000 scholarship upon successful completion.
