Create a mutually beneficial relationship with students
A sponsor's duty is to prepare students for the careers of the future. PTL expects our sponsors to guide students to work on an innovative project that's on the cutting edge of the industry.
Provide a company orientation
Almost all high school students are new to the professional world and need to understand the basics of working in a company: confidentiality, teamwork, and even basic professional etiquette. How much students can accomplish comes down to how deeply they are immersed in the company.
Assign an experienced employee to be a mentor
Mentors are crucial to the success of helping develop these students. Sponsors are required to assign a mentor who truly believes in the mission of PTL and the value of helping these students.
